  3. Site Visit (Optional)

    If necessary, we can conduct a site visit to assess the venue's layout and discuss lighting options in person. This allows us to provide more accurate recommendations and ensure that we're fully prepared to bring your vision to life.

  4. Detailed Estimate

    Once we've finalized the details of your lighting design, we'll provide you with a detailed estimate outlining the cost of equipment rental, installation, and any additional services you may require.

  5. Booking

    If you're satisfied with the estimate, we'll work with you to secure your booking and lock in your desired date. Our team will coordinate with your venue and other vendors to ensure a seamless setup and execution on the day of your event.

  6. Installation

    Our experienced technicians will arrive on-site to install and set up the lighting according to your specifications. We'll carefully execute your vision, paying close attention to every detail to create the perfect ambiance for your celebration.

  7. Support and Maintenance

    Since Sierra Lighting is a Tahoe based company, our team will be on standby to provide support and address any concerns that may arise, during your event. We're committed to ensuring that your lighting experience exceeds your expectations from start to finish.

  8. Takedown

    Removal occurs after a happy event. Our team carefully removes the lights. Your venue will look just as beautiful after we are done as when we started.

Sierra Lighting approaches every event from a photographic standpoint. Your pictures last forever and we want to be certain they look their best. We communicate with your event designer, planner, florist, photographer, and videographer ahead of your wedding. Once we understand the focal points of an event, we can create a lighting scheme that will best accentuate those details. We look at the big picture of an event. When the photographer takes a picture across the room of the couple dancing, they should be lit, along with the centerpieces, the band, and the wall in the back, to highlight all the important focal points of your event.

We exclusively use modern LED technology, wireless and battery powered where possible. With wireless LEDs, we are eliminating fire risks from traditional technology, reducing tripping hazards and clutter in your photos. We use modern RGB technology to create the perfect lighting effects to highlight your decor and create the ideal mood for your big day. For example, ambers / warm whites add a flattering and romantic glow while deep purple / blue can amp up guests for the dance party portion of the night. You can choose a unified color scheme, select a palette of complimentary colors or even plan changes throughout your event.
