Edgewood Resort Holiday Display

At Edgewood Resort in South Lake Tahoe, the holidays arrive with a sense of refinement and wonder. This season, Sierra Lighting returned to enhance the resort’s winter experience with a display that’s both festive and architectural—designed to complement the natural beauty of the lakefront setting while adding warmth and charm to the guest experience.

The entrance sets the tone with monument wraps that highlight the resort’s signature stonework. These decorative accents use warm white mini lights to trace the texture and form of the pillars, creating a welcoming transition from road to retreat. From there, the lighting design unfolds across the property with a series of Cali wrap trees, each wrapped in mini LEDs that shimmer softly against the snow and sky. These smaller trees add rhythm and intimacy to the landscape, guiding guests through the resort’s pathways and gathering spaces.

At the heart of the display stands the grand feature tree, a towering focal point adorned with sparkling lights that evoke the magic of a mountain winter. Positioned to be visible from multiple vantage points, the tree anchors the holiday experience with scale, elegance, and seasonal spirit.

This year, Sierra Lighting added a new element to the design: a decorated tree on the lakeside of the building, facing Lake Tahoe. This tree was chosen and placed with intention—not just as a visual accent, but as a gesture toward the lake itself. Wrapped in warm white strands and framed by the surrounding pines, the lakeside tree reflects in the water on calm nights and catches the eye of guests walking the shoreline. It’s a quiet moment of beauty, designed to connect the resort’s interior celebration with the natural world just beyond.

Together, these elements form a cohesive lighting experience—one that honors Edgewood’s architecture, enhances its guest journey, and celebrates the season with clarity and care.
