Fan Above the Valley

High Camp weddings already feel like they’re perched between earth and sky — but for this celebration atop Palisades Tahoe, Sierra Lighting added a canopy of warmth that made the entire mountaintop glow. With panoramic views of the valley unfolding thousands of feet below, we designed a fan‑shaped display of mini lights that radiated from the semi‑circular venue, sweeping outward over both the dining tables and the dance floor.
The effect was effortless and airy: a constellation of warm points overhead, soft enough to let the alpine twilight breathe, yet bright enough to create an intimate atmosphere for dinner, toasts, and late‑night dancing. The lights followed the natural curve of the space, drawing the eye outward toward the ridgelines and inward toward the celebration — a perfect balance of landscape and design.
As the evening deepened, the dance floor became the heartbeat of the event, with the lights above and the party below. High Camp always delivers unforgettable views; this time, it delivered an unforgettable glow.
