Light, Fabric & Mountain Sky

Nestled along Tahoe's West Shore, this private estate wedding transformed a clear-span tent into an immersive celebration of light, texture, and atmosphere. Every design element worked together to create a space that felt intimate and elegant while remaining connected to the surrounding mountains and evening sky.

The re Flower Pendants hung over the bar like softly floating sculptures. Measuring 24 inches in diameter, each pendant introduced a warm glow and handcrafted character inspired by Wabi-sabi design. Their organic form, reminiscent of paper mâché, brought texture without heaviness, appearing to hover gently above guests as the evening unfolded. Providing just the right amount of illumination for conversation, cocktails, and celebration. The fixtures created a welcoming atmosphere where guests could comfortably enjoy the company around them while preserving the relaxed ambiance that makes wedding lighting feel magical rather than functional.

The tent itself was completely transformed through layers of elegant drapery. Fabric wrapped the entire interior of the clear structure, softening the architecture and creating a romantic canvas for the evening's design. Exterior drapery was also installed to conceal the reception space during cocktail hour. As guests transitioned to dinner, the draped wall opened to reveal the fully illuminated reception tent beyond. The dramatic unveiling showcased the room in its entirety, glowing with warm light and inviting guests into an entirely new environment.

Above, sweeping ceiling drapery stretched across the tent canopy and was delicately backlit with market lighting. As the sun disappeared behind the Sierra peaks, the layered fabric began to glow softly overhead, echoing the colors of dusk while enhancing the deepening night sky visible through the clear tent roof.

The result was a celebration that felt both grand and effortless. Warm light, flowing fabric, and the natural beauty of Tahoe's mountains came together to create an atmosphere that evolved throughout the evening, from golden-hour cocktails to a beautifully illuminated reception beneath the stars.
