Each winter, South Lake Tahoe transforms into a storybook setting of snow, sparkle, and seasonal joy. Sierra Lighting is proud to help bring that vision to life at the Winter Wonderland event, crafting a lighting design that invites guests into a world of warmth, wonder, and holiday enchantment.

Santa’s Cabin: A Cozy Glow in the Pines

Nestled among the trees, Santa’s Cabin serves as the heart of the Winter Wonderland experience. We outlined the cabin’s roofline and architectural features in warm white LEDs, creating a soft, inviting silhouette that glows against the alpine dusk. The lighting evokes the charm of a classic mountain lodge—welcoming, timeless, and full of holiday spirit.

The Walkway: A Journey Through Color and Light

Guests arriving at the cabin are guided along a colorful walkway, where overhead strands of multicolor lights shimmer above and tree wraps line the path on either side. The effect is immersive—like walking through a tunnel of twinkling color, with each step drawing you deeper into the festive landscape.

The Gingerbread Room: Sweetness in Every Detail

Inside the Gingerbread Room offers a whimsical escape. We installed mini lights across the ceiling, creating a canopy of sparkle that mimics sugar crystals and frosted icing. On the walls, green and red uplights add depth and drama, bathing the space in classic holiday hues. The result is cozy, playful, and perfect for photos, storytelling, or simply soaking in the magic.
